Current Server Setup:
I have dedicated this to this section on how I have every device setup within the network. I currently have the primary Proxmox Server situated upstairs which is uplinked via the TP-Link switch (TL-SG108E) to a TP-Link Deco X50 while unconventional in most setups, we don't have any RJ45 wallplates installed throughout the house, the throughput is stable and handles the load without bottlenecks. However since I'm running everything through a consumer-grade mesh router system like the Decos this typically will strip 802.1Q VLAN tags. As I am restricted to non-tagged traffic for this node that's exactly why I have chosen to run non mission critical services. This is precisely why the ThinkStation remains hardwired to the primary router (UniFi Cloud Gateway Ultra) and why a UniFi managed switch & server rack are the next logical steps for this Lab's infrastructure.
